Default New Browsers

Hey,

I read an article on BBC yesterday about a whole bunch of other Browsers I had no idea about, so I went digging around and this is what I found.

Avant Browser - Based on IE and felt pretty clunky to me.
Flock Browser - I'm using this at the moment and I like it. It's fairly compact, pretty fast. In my opinion I seem to get a better response than with Firefox.... And it's got a bunch of SocMed tools built in...
Green Browser - Has an annoying little Green button that stays on top. Haven't figured out how to turn it off. Other than that it's not too bad
K-Meleon Browser - Haven't spent much time playing around with it, Though I don't like the way it handles Tabs.
Maxthon Browser - Haven't spent much time playing around with it. Though it appears to have some nice features.
Slim Browser - Haven't spent much time playing around with it.
Sleipnir Browser - This is another one that I like, though I'm not really sure why.

Have fun guys.

They are quite inviting to experiment, but in reality I cannot imagine using any other browser apart from firefox. I'm so addicted to it and cant change to another one.

I Agree With ronwits.! FireFox is the best for fast browsing and for easy using.. I think you Should Try it.. Besides Most People Here Use FireFox For Their Browser..

I have Firefox and used to use it as my predominate browser. I have Opera and like how easy it is to Bookmark a page into a folder. I find Flock to be faster than Firefox, but, that's only my observation. I have IE, which I use for Banking and Work (It's the only browser (that I've found) that ZoneAlarm works well with (installing ZoneAlarm also screwed up Firefox and I've never been able to correct that either (uninstall, reboot, reinstall... Still stuffed))... I use what I feel like using. I like to try new things. I don't really give a rat's what "Most People Use".

And SeaMonkey (by Mozilla). Mainly because I thought most developers would have known about it... I only posted the ones that I found as new....

Played around with this browser last night. Didn't really like it. The major downside to it is you can only ever have one window (instance) of it running at any one time. So no multiple windows.... It's based on IE and not Gecko.
