I am currently using Google Adsense to try and get some funds coming into my website (you will see the link in my sig tomorrow morning haha) but I am hopeful of getting rid of them and actually selling some advertisements myself.

I do not want to use adsense due to the ads they put on are not relevent to my website, or to the country my website is aimed at.

We are an Australian based Sports Forum, who is growing rapidly, and want to look into getting Australian businesses advertised on my website, and want to set up a section where certain advertisers can advertise products for sale through our stores.

Through adsense I have had things from a dating website, the stupid little punch the guy 10 times and you win stuff, and even merchandise that when my members click it is all in US Dollars so like I said trying to sort our my own advertising with australian based businesses and websites.

If you are only using google adsense then you really need to look at other options.

Adsense is paying nothing like it was 2 years ago, its been destoryed in terms of revenue.

Have you thought about CPM..

I recommended CPX and Value click use value click as your main cpm company and also use CPX for lower half of the page...both pay out on time.

If you want better companies you really need to live in the USA which leaves us in Australia limited.

Sure theirs are hepas of companies like adbrite, shopping ads blah blah

And also of course private ad sales which is one of the best.
