Default AdminFusion.com is for sale

If you want to have your own IT forum. It's a great looking site and very complete, I'm a bit surprised that the revenue of the site is so low and the traffic as well. With that said I think it has huge potential.

AdminFusion had died off by the time I got this forum so I didn't get a chance to see it full swing but have heard it was very successful - a bit hard to believe that a forum can die so much, all in 18 months!

I think it shows that buying a forum solely for it's revenue isn't such a wise move.

I found the previous sale of it at http://marketplace.sitepoint.com/auctions/17293, back in December 2007. The final price was not shown but was over $14k and most people were saying the reserve was at least $20k.

The current auction is at $6k (reserve not met still). Looks like they could be in for a bit of a loss.

The auction is about to finish and still only at $6300 - far from the $14000+ it sold for 18 months ago.

I guess you need to look at it's current revenue and the current activity - perhaps $6300 is fair now. The extras (like PostFusion) really needs someone who knows what their doing to take advantage of them.

Will be interesting to see if the sale goes through...
